Procurement Consultant Career Opportunity
Are you looking for a meaningful consulting role supporting local government procurement across Australia?
At Local Government Contracts Australia (LGCA), we’re expanding and currently looking to fill the role of Procurement Consultant. This is a full-time permanent role, remote working from anywhere in Australia, and the primary responsibilities for this position include:
- End to end procurement facilitation support for councils
- Procurement policy, strategy and framework support
- Contact management support
- Probity, governance and compliance support
- Market analysis, supplier engagement, and contract management reviews
- Fostering strong client relationships with councils
Experience:
- Demonstrated end-to-end procurement and contract management experience, ideally
within or for the public sector
- Strong knowledge of local government procurement frameworks, regulations, and probity
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality consulting support
